The Cord and Pulley Awning is used to protect an enclosed area from bad weather. If you are thinking of buying this awning in clear PVC, bear in mind that it will not the protect the user from the heat unless a heat resistant fabric is used. A clear/nontinted or tinted PVC fabric is available for purchase.
The most common place to fit this awning is between two posts on a patio or in front of two posts. Awnings can be zipped up to keep it in place during heavy rain or high wind conditions but are not recommended for rolling up for extended periods due to creasing of the fabric.
